Our Founder
Our founder, Malissa Saghatchi earned her Masters degree in Art Market: Practices and Principles (Gallery Management) in New York. Following a six-year tenure in the realm of art galleries, she ventured into establishing Curate and Collect Inc. in 2015, a private art consultation firm. Her comprehensive 16-year journey in the art marketplace includes managing galleries, working with museums, and overseeing corporate collections. Saghatchi's fervor is located in procuring artworks for client's portfolio unrestrained by a specific gallery directive. The liberty of acquiring artwork from diverse avenues enables Saghatchi to steer collectors towards building an art repertoire tailored to their distinct preferences. Her proficiency provides collectors with an understanding of current market trends and assists in making informed investment decisions in artworks. Above all, Saghatchi encourages collectors to primarily pursue artworks that resonate with their personal taste.
Malissa is an esteemed art advisor residing in San Diego, California; she has amassed a network of collectors nationwide. Her career initially launched within the artistic circles of New York before she transitioned to California, her current home alongside her husband and trio of children. Her and her family relish exploring new destination in their travels.
